Irina Nesterova wins French Riviera Championship as Christophe Guedon captures his second WAT title.

ow good it is to feel the atmosphere of the competition again. After more than 9 months off the greens, the World Amateur Tour was back on tracks this week on the French Riviera.  Terre Blanche Resort hosted the event for the first time and all the players were happy to meet again in such a wonderfull place.

Under a beautiful sunshine, all competitors couldn’t  wait to discover the Golf de Provence designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr with maybe the most beautiful set up in Continental Europe.
Taiwan’s Lan Tsai produced a beautiful game and quickly took the lead over Frenchman Jean-Philippe Talmon. 2018 World Amateur Tour Champion Christophe Guedon was in contention only two strokes behind along with Russian Alexander Krasnenkov.
The second round played over Le Chateau Golf Course was going to offer a great battle between three players. Christophe
Guedon quickly took the advantage with a great start, one birdie and 4 pars. He ends up with a fabulous score of 40 points stableford to win the overall ranking by 6 points ahead of Alexander Krasnenkov who came second winning the senior series title, followed by Jean-Philippe Talmon.
