Who publishes this site
World Amateur Golf Guide is an independent editorial project about amateur golf, published by a private individual. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to the World Amateur Tour, its former organisers, partners or sponsors, or any golf federation, tour or governing body. Where this site names an organisation, it does so to describe or cite it.

What this site does not do
- It does not organise, host or promote tournaments.
- It does not accept entries, applications or memberships.
- It does not take payments, bookings or donations.
- It does not sell equipment, travel or coaching.
Requests of that kind should go to the relevant federation, club or organiser.
Terms of use
The content is published for general information. You may read, link to and quote it with attribution. You may not republish whole pages, or present this site's material as the work of another publisher.
Nothing here is a ruling on the Rules of Golf, on the Rules of Amateur Status or on handicapping. Rulings come from the governing bodies and from national associations. Where this site summarises a rule, the authoritative text is the one published by the body concerned, and the links in our sources sections point to it.
Nothing here is medical advice. Pages that mention injury or training describe published research and common practice; a diagnosis and a return-to-play plan come from a clinician who has examined you.
Accuracy and corrections
Facts on this site are published with a named source and a working link, and figures carry the year of the source. If a statement cannot be supported by a source a reader can check, we remove it rather than hedge it. To report an error, write to the editorial address with the page, the sentence and, if you have one, a source. Accepted corrections are made to the page.
External links
Links to governing bodies, clubs, research databases and news publishers are provided for verification. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content. Outbound links carry `rel="nofollow noopener"`.
Privacy
- No analytics or advertising trackers are installed on this site.
- No cookies are set by us. Pages load a web font from Google Fonts, and that request reaches Google's servers with your IP address, as any request for an external file does.
- No accounts, no registration, no payment data.
- The contact form does not send data to this site. It opens your own email program with the text filled in, so the message travels through your email provider to our mailbox and nothing is stored here.
- Email we receive is kept only as long as needed to answer it, and is not shared or sold.
If you want your correspondence deleted, say so in the message and we will delete it once the matter is closed.
Images and copyright
Photography on this site is either our own or licensed for the use shown. Material from the website previously published at this address is not reproduced: no logos, photographs, video or text from the former tour appear here. Text on these pages is original and written for this site; quotations from sources are short and attributed.

These notes may be updated as the site changes. The version published on this page is the one in force.
